(KKC), the buyer represents they are of legal age, and that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner. The buyer represents that they are of legal status in the United States. It is the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller, to ascertain and obey all applicable local, state, federal and international laws regarding the possession, concealment, and or use, of any item purchased. KKC assumes no responsibility for any harm or injury resulting to yourself or others based on your actions from the sale, trade, borrow, use or handling of any product produced or purchased from KKC.

Your privacy is important to the Krooked Knife Company, LLC (KKC). Our privacy statement provides information about the personal information that KKC collects and the ways in which KKC uses your personal information.

This allows for you to save some time next time you visit by not putting in some information such as a password, if you allow that. Cookies can also enable tracking a of visitors while on this site.

When you submit information via the website we take precautions to protect it. This information is protected during transmission and storage. Our site uses HTTPS, which encrypts data in transmission and protects our site. This means the site is secure and the transmission of information to it is also secure within the limits of the HTTPS internet protocol, and software running the site. If we collect sensitive information (such as digital payment data), that information is transmitted in a secure way because of HTTPS. We also need to store your data offline in order or fulfill your purchase, for example. Only the employees who need access to this information to perform a specific job (shipping your order) are given access to information you shared with us.

But unfortunately many things in a digital world are beyond our control (e.g. Hackers, software security vulnerabilities…etc). Therefore, we are not responsible for any damages or claims resulting from criminal actions or unauthorized access to this website by any third party which may result in the disclosure of your personal information.

We are the only owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Orders

We require information from you in order to place an order from us. Typically this is contact information for shipping and payment information, like credit card or other digital payment information. This information is used for billing and to determine where to ship your products.

At any time, KKC may update this privacy policy by posting a new version on this site. You should check this page occasionally to see if any changes have taken place.

Shipping Details

All orders are shipped via USPS Flat Rate Boxes with tracking number(s) and $50.00 worth of insurance. Most of our orders will exceed $50.00 in value. We will AUTOMATICALLY add additional shipping cost to cover the additional insurance cost for the entire order value if above $50.00. Shipping high value knives without insurance in case they are lost by USPS is just not smart. We want to avoid hassles for you and us if a order is lost, and get you a replacement shipped or a refund fast. We can do both of these with a little bit of shipping insurance up front. Shipping is calculated using USPS rates based on your shipping address. Additional shipping insurance is at the buyers expense. If you really don’t want to incur the cost of shipping insurance, send us an email at info@krookedknifeco.com and we will work it out with you. If the buyer declines insurance for the full value of the entire order, KKC is not obligated to refund or replace your order. KKC will only replace items for which full insurance was purchased by the buyer.

Warranty

The Krooked Knife Company LLC’s (KKC) knives come with a Lifetime Warranty to the original owner. If our materials or workmanship fails, we want to make it right for you the customer. Our LexT knife and LexT Trainer have a specific purpose, and that purpose is to be used as a self-defense tool when you need it most. The LexT was not designed to be used to open boxes, used as a pry bar, a chisel , a screwdriver, and the like. KKC disclaims all warranties if the knife is used for any other reason than which it was designed, a cutting tool.

Please Note: Cerakote coating will scratch and show signs of wear with normal use with Kydex. Wear to the cerakote is not a basis for a warranty claim.

KKC’s sheaths come with a Limited Warranty to the original owner for one (1) year from date of purchase.

If you feel that you have a product issue, please contact us at info@krookedknifeco.com. At our discretion, we will replace or repair any knife, trainer or sheath, if deemed defective by KKC. Once deemed defective, the product must be shipped by the buyer, prepaid and insured with the original bill of sale. KKC will cover return shipment costs and insurance for all valid claims.

This Warranty does not cover normal wear, damage caused by neglect, damage caused by re-sharpening, and use outside if its intended purpose or any modifications or disassembly of any knife or sheath. This Warranty does not cover loss or loss by theft of a product.

There are no additional warranties beyond what is described above.
