LexT Deployment System

The LexT is more than a simple sheath,  it is a deployment system.

We gave critical thought to the deployment system of the LexT.  The system needed to offer many EDC mounting options, which it does.   The LexT can be mounted almost anywhere with six rivet points to connect the movable strap for your application. The main body of the system is heat formed using Kydex.  The Kydex is thin, and the outer profile is smooth and cut close to the LexT.  This minimizes the width as well as overall thickness allowing for comfortable concealment.  Our design embeds a small but powerful rare earth magnet into the core sheath sandwiched behind a third layer of very thin Kydex.   This magnet is what allows strong positive retention through magnetic attraction to the AEB-L stainless steel of the LexT.  This design also offers a smooth and mechanically frictionless draw.   Additionally, the design allows the top thumb ramp of the LexT to remain outside the sheath, where its jimping contacts your thump on first touch for a perfect index with every draw, without thinking about it or messing around with a locking mechanism.
